Changing The Baby

Baby Changing Furniture

Luxuries To Spoil Your Baby (And Yourself)

Preparing for the arrival of a newborn is a journey of excitement and anticipation, but one that involves a great deal of preparation as well.  Some people will spend a lot of energy putting together the perfect nursery as they await that wondrous event.   If you fall into this category, you will probably find yourself shopping for baby changing furniture, among other items.

There is an infinite amount of ways to go as far as nursery preparation is concerned.  If you are on a limited budget, be creative and take a look at some less conventional sources of baby items such as yard sales and classified ads.  As is often the case with parents of first born babies, more than enough baby related purchases are made either by the parents themselves or by generous and excited family members and friends.  Once the baby becomes potty trained, the baby changing furniture often finds its way into the corner of the garage.  Ultimately, many of these furniture pieces and other like items surface at places like garage sales and can be had for pennies on the dollar.

Some parents, however, opt for a full-blown ensemble: baby furniture changing tables, matching cribs and dressers, designer mobiles and lamps and more.  In some sense, the nursery preparation is all a part of a grand celebration on behalf of the newly arrived infant.

Fortunately, there are some gorgeous pieces of furniture from which to choose.  Take, for example, the 3 piece nursery set from the Parker Collection by DaVinci.  Start off with the versatile Parker 4 in 1 convertible crib that features, among other things, an easy to adjust multi-level mattress height and a trundle for extra storage.  Add the 2 door Parker baby changing table for easy changes and more storage.  Complete your nursery with the beautiful 4 drawer dresser with easy glide mechanism and safety stops for the baby's protection.  Choose from gorgeous colors including coffee, natural tones, oak and peal white.

For the newer, but more moderately priced baby changing furniture and all the bells and whistles, take a look at the infant sections of stores like Walmart and Target.  There, you can choose from nicely made and attractive cribs, changing tables, dressers and more.  Storkcraft, Badger and Graco, among other brands, have manufactured many accessibly priced items that can help you create quite a lovely nursery.

Whichever route you take in the preparation of your baby's room, you are sure to find some exciting solutions.  Start early in the process and keep your eye out for bargains.  Be creative with paint colors so as to let your design touches bubble to the surface.  At long last remember, well after the baby furniture is purchased is when the real joyful journey begins.
